Do i have to present things in front the class if i have social anxiety disorder. I start to panic and turn red. Are teachers aloud to excuse you?
It really depends on whether a presentation is part of the coursework ,if it is then you have to do it.
Most people find talking to an audience difficult and nerve wracking but the more you do it the easier it becomes. Given the chance most would avoid doing it but it can help boost confidence
A moving documentary about Social Anxiety Disorder. You are not alone.

I had to go to Wal-Mart this morning and decided to experiment with doing a time lapse video.
Then I tried (keyword there) to make a video sitting in the parking lot of Wal-Mart too. As you can tell, well….yeeeeaah. I started off well enough but it didnt take long for my anxiety to kick in. Tbh, I didnt plan on making it that long anyway but I did hope to make it a little longer than what I did. It just didnt go as great as I had hoped as I had wanted to say a lot more but maybe sooner or later things like this will become another I dont think twice about it kind of thing.
But, I guess, you just have to take it step by step. Progress is progress, I suppose.
The whole time I tried doing this, even before, I kept thinking and wondering if anyone was in the surrounding cars that I couldn’t see and what if someone was watching me and blah blah blah. I doubt I have to get into what it’s like for most of you who watch my videos.
Not much to the video.

Charles Linden addresses a group of anxiety treatment professionals and other interested parties in his 2010 Keynote Address & Report. Charles announces how The Linden Method is creating anxiety recovery where before there was nothing available for anxiety sufferers internationally.
“If you watch one video about your anxiety this year, watch this one.” Lucy Boden. Chester.
“This presentation is the culmination of my 13 years helping 137,000 plus clients to recover, my work with scientists, medics and psychologists and all the people involved in my organization. If you suffer from high anxiety and want to benefit from the experience and data we have collected… unique, curative data… please take the time to watch this short video. Take care all.” Charles
PLEASE NOTE: The testimonials in this video are from real clients who have recorded them at home in their own words. They have sometimes used notes from which they read. Please understand that they felt compelled to tell their stories and that they are not trained presenters…. however, they are anxiety free and very, very satisfied.

What can Research Teach us about Childhood Anxiety Disorders?
Dr. Arlene Young
Fears and anxieties are quite common in childhood but some children’s worries and fears are so intense and disruptive that they need treatment from a clinical psychologist or other mental health professional.
Research is an essential tool for understanding why children develop anxiety disorders and how best to treat and prevent these problems.
This talk highlights some new research being conducted within the Psychology Department at Simon Fraser University to help us understand why some children may be more vulnerable to developing anxiety disorders and what we can do to treat children in the most effective way possible.
This research draws on methods used in cognitive, developmental, and clinical psychology to help clarify the mechanisms underlying anxiety in children.
