I have all the symptoms of social anxiety disorder and deppression and I’m not really sure where to go so I can see if I actually have them.. I keep telling my parents about it and they keep insisting that there is nothing wrong with me and that i’ll just grow out of it but I’d prefer to see a professional just to check. Thanks xx
I hate when people say it’s nothing and it will go away, as if 8 years of waiting for was not enough, Make an appointment with your Doctor, tell him how you feel, how it has been affecting your daily life and routine, like school, eating, socializing, using the phone, speaking to strangers, staying at home to avoid others etc. He willa sk you questions and discuss treatments. Take that step, believe me you will not regret it. all the best.
